Wow, it's been a while, huh? I told you I was terrible at this blogging thing. ;)
So, I've had some ups and downs the last couple of weeks. I learned that I absolutely cannot eat white potatoes or rice and still lose weight. So they're gone. I don't miss them TOO badly.
I have a goal to lose 50 lbs by my birthday, June 16. I'm well on my way. I also have a short term goal. I want to lose 3 lbs this week. I'll weigh-in on Thursday (2/9). I ordered a beginner's yoga DVD from Amazon. It arrived yesterday, so now I have no excuse not to start a little exercise. I loved yoga when I did it in the past, and my husband is going to participate which will be good for him. If there was an award or a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the least flexible person in the world, I'm sure he would win! Ha ha!
I still haven't begun the 100 push-ups challenge, but I'm making that another goal of this week. I think we're going to start with push-ups three days a week, and yoga two days a week.

this week's weight: 295.4
I'm sure that being more strict with my diet will produce the three pounds a week loss that I am striving for. Tomorrow we are taking a road trip to look at a new (to us!) minivan, and I'll be eating out. I'm going to make good choices! That is another goal. ;)
